Clay Miles, a native of Connecticut was a ward of the state telling jokes in an orphanage until he was bumped up to adopted act. A couple walked into the orphanage looking for cheap help, couldn't help but laugh at the sight of little Clay, so they decided to take him home... hell it was cheaper than a VCR.
Throughout his adolescence, Clay excelled in baseball and football until he realized it was all in his mind and his professional dream was another big joke! Upon seeing him play, baseball scouts suggested he enlist in the Marine Corps. The Marines, where the obvious love and respect he received from the drill instructors (YEAH RIGHT!!) strangely enough would help develop his comedic skills! In addition, those same genuine personality traits remain key parts of his unique and unforgettable form of comedy.
Clay debuted his act in Texas, where the horses had license plates on their asses and the kids had gun racks on their bikes! He killed that day, which was good for him because they would have pulled the lever and had a live puppet show instead. The Marines then decided Clay needed to tell his jokes in a place where they would be understood; Okinawa, Japan. After that disaster the Marines shipped Clay in a hurry to Hawaii to entertain the Samoans who didn't speak English and still worshiped tikki gods. He then fought through "clean" comedy in Hawaii (NO CURSE WORDS), which was bull sh@t!! For Clay that was like wearing a condom while you make love to a brand new blow up doll! A nine year career as a Marine added to his commanding stage presence and polished his powerful, self-motivating work ethic.
